PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Sun Frog DECK STRIPPER is a strong caustic, designed to release oil and water based polymers and drying oils from attached substrate wood fibre, thereby releasing exterior films, paints and stains from adherence to wood surfaces.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

Experience shows that strippers work best in warm conditions. For best results, apply only on a warm, sunny day, when then temperature is between 65 and 90 degrees. Dampen surface desired to be stripped with light water spray and apply Deck Stripper solution with a brush, roller, pad or pump sprayer (do not breath vapors or mists or allow skin or eye contact so, if sprayed, use extra caution and NIOSH approved respirators). Let stand 3-5 minutes, keeping wet with fine water mist if necessary, then brush with a short, stiff acrylic brush or deck broom, adding more DECK STRIPPER solution during brush phase. Let stand a second 3-5 minutes, again keeping damp with water mist if necessary, then lightly brush a second time and rinse well with maximum available household pressure (or light pressure washing). Painted and solid body stained surfaces may require second complete application and rinsing depending on the coating and condition of coating prior to stripping.

COVERAGE:

One gallon of diluted DECK STRIPPER solution will typically strip 80 to 125 square feet of deck. For paints and solid body stains, full-strength use may be required. Against good condition, strong varnishes and heavily pigmented stains, dilution at 2 parts water to 1 part DECK STRIPPER is about right. Against heavily warn stains and oil and latex based older sealers and finishes, dilution can be up to 4 parts water to one part DECK STRIPPER. Thus, depending on dilution and need for second applications, one gallon of DECK STRIPPER can typically be expected to strip between 80 and 625 square feet.
