Your organization gets a public fundraising page on SunFrog. Supporters shop custom apparel with your artwork. We print each order on demand, ship it, and handle customer service.
You keep 50% of the merchandise price on every sale. There is no inventory to buy and no monthly fee.
How do we apply, and how long does a response take?
Submit the Community Giveback application. Tell us about your organization, what you need, and share artwork if you already have it.
Typical response time is within 5 business days. We cannot fulfill every request. If we can help, we will follow up by email — sometimes with donated apparel, a fundraising storefront, or both.
Causes earn 50% of the merchandise sale price of each item sold through the storefront — after any coupon or discount, and including extra print-location charges.
Tax and shipping are not part of the split.
How is the 50% calculated, including extra print locations?
The first print location is included in the garment price. Each additional location (for example a back print, sleeve, or pocket) adds a production charge to what the shopper pays. Your 50% is calculated on that full merchandise total.
Example: a $24 premium tee with only a front print pays your cause $12. The same tee with a $5.50 back print sells for $29.50, and your cause receives $14.75.
Premium T-Shirt — $24 (first print included)
Youth Tee — $19
Tank Top — $19
Crewneck Sweatshirt — $39
Hooded Sweatshirt — $42
Typical extra location charges: back $5.50, pocket $4.50, sleeve $3.00
Those extra-location amounts are the standard production adders on single-item storefront orders. Shoppers see the combined price before they buy.
What if a shopper uses a coupon or discount?
Payout is 50% of the sale price after the discount, including extra print locations. Tax and shipping are still not part of the split.
Example: a $24 tee with a 20% coupon costs the shopper $19.20. Your cause receives $9.60 — half of what the shopper paid for the merchandise.
How and when are we paid?
Payouts are sent once per month on the 15th, by check, to the mailing address we have on file.
Each check covers eligible sales from the previous month. Keep your mailing address current with our team so the check arrives without delay.
How do we choose products and add designs?
After we approve a storefront, you will receive a login. Then:
Sign in at the Cause Portal
Open Artwork and create a design
Choose garments (tee, youth tee, tank, crewneck, hoodie) and a default color
Upload a high-resolution PNG with a transparent background for each print location you want
The first location is included in the garment price; add back, sleeves, or pockets only if you want those extra production charges on the shopper price
Share your public page at sunfrog.com/causes/your-name
You can add more designs later. Track earnings on the Sales tab in the Cause Portal.
Print files should be PNG, with a transparent background, at high resolution. That keeps edges sharp and lets the garment color show through instead of a white box behind the design.
PNG format
Transparent background
High resolution
Upload one file per print location. Flattened JPEGs and low-resolution screenshots do not print well.
Who handles printing, shipping, and customer service?
We do. SunFrog prints on demand in the United States and handles fulfillment, shipping, returns, and shopper questions. Your organization never packs a box or buys inventory.
Is there a cost to participate?
No. Applying and running a cause storefront is free. There are no setup fees or monthly fees. Production costs are built into the shopper price, including extra print locations.
Is this the same as a free apparel donation?
Not always. The Giveback form is how organizations apply. Depending on the request and our monthly donated-apparel budget, we may donate printed shirts, set up a 50% fundraising storefront, or both.
A storefront stays open so supporters can buy year-round. Donated apparel is a one-time gift of product, not a cash grant.
