Design Interpretation
The artwork plays on the humorous reality of holiday fatigue. By presenting a cute, tired elf sticking his tongue out amidst a heap of presents and tangled lights, the design shifts away from sterile holiday imagery toward something relatable, warm, and nostalgic. The use of halftone dots and a muted, vintage-inspired color palette gives it an indie comic book feel that stands out on apparel.
