Design Interpretation
This design merges cozy domesticity with mind-bending cosmic surrealism. By placing a familiar domestic cat at the center of an inverted, gravity-defying landscape, the artwork challenges our perception of reality. The detailed gold frame gives the piece an archival, classic-art museum vibe, while the dusty colors—muted teal, ochre, grey, and cream—evoke a nostalgic, indie-book illustration aesthetic. It serves as a visual metaphor for looking past the surface of daily life to find the magic and mystery hidden just out of view.
