The phrase "Not Broken. Between Upgrades." is a well-known lighthearted justification used by gearheads and mechanics when a project vehicle is sitting non-functional in the garage. Rather than admitting a truck is broken down, it reframes the downtime as a temporary phase of performance improvement and customization. It reflects the patience, pride, and humor required in hands-on vehicle maintenance.
